New guidance will ensure that people who are awarded the highest level of support under Personal Independence Payment, and whose needs are expected to stay the same or increase, will receive an ongoing award, with a ‘light touch’ review every 10 years.     Using sensors and analytics to detect unexpected changes in behaviour, the CareTeam app integrates help from friends, family and neighbours along with professional carers. The app allows an invited circle of trusted people to share important information such as medications and appointments in a secure platform. Read more

  • New support group for arthritis sufferers and carers

    Arthritis Action run a group for people in Southampton who have arthritis or if someone you care for has arthritis. Their next meeting will take place on 13th December 2018 at 1 pm – 3 pm at The Millennium Third Age Centre, 11 Cranbury Terrace SO14. Read more
