Working with the local community

Southampton City Clinical Commissioning Group engagement and communications team regularly attend events across Southampton to share information about the services available and listen to your feedback and experiences of local services. 

The team have been out across the city over the summer and early Autumn as we celebrated 70 years of the NHS.

Southampton City Clinical Commissioning Group will be holding their next event for the local community and our stakeholders on the evening of Tuesday 20 November. The aim of the event will be to listen to your views to help shape their priorities for health in Southampton over the next five years.

Governing Body meetings and headlines

We hold Governing Body meetings in public every other month. Local people are welcome to attend these meetings and find out more about the decisions made about Southampton health services.

Upcoming meeting dates are as follows:

·         Wednesday 28 November 2018

·         Wednesday 30 January 2019

·         Wednesday 27 March 2019

All meetings (unless highlighted on their website) are held from 2pm - 5pm in the Conference Room, NHS Southampton HQ, Oakley Road, Millbrook, Southampton, SO16 4GX. Full details on their website.

Primary Medical Care Commissioning Committee

The Primary Medical Care Commissioning Committee also now hold meetings in public. The Committee was established in April 2016, when Southampton CC took on the role of commissioning primary medical care services (GP practices) in the city.

Upcoming meeting dates are as follows:

·         Wednesday 17 October 2018 - 1pm - 2pm

·         Wednesday 12 December 2018 - 10:30am - 11.30am

·         Thursday 21 February 2019 - 9:30am - 10.30am
