Carers in Southampton Service Manager

Salary Range: c£36k per annum

Type of Contract: Permanent

Hours per week: 37.5 (Job share considered for the right applicant)

An exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual has arisen with Southampton MENCAP, a voluntary organisation based in Portswood, for a Service Manager for its Carers in Southampton Service. 

This service which was launched in September 2014 has been re-commissioned by Southampton City Council for the next five years to offer carers access to information, advice and support which increase their choice, control and independence opportunities.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in project management and/or a relevant management qualification alongside the ability to effectively lead a team.  Excellent inter-personal and communication skills (including IT and report writing) will be essential to the role.

The right person will definitely want to make a difference to the lives of Carers in our City.
