    An exhibition of latest solutions for independent living to help carers will be at The Spark, Southampton Solent University on Tuesday 19th March 2019 from 10am to 4pm. Carers can book a free lunch, available from 12 to 2pm. Carers who register and attend will be entered into a Prize Draw for a Tablet PC.

    How to get the right support from your local authority: a guide to the Care Act 2014 and other laws, for family carers of an adult with learning disabilities and/or autism.

  • Win a flight in a Spitfire

    Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST) have partnered with Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar to win a flight in a Spitfire. The generous prize has been donated to help NST celebrate their first birthday in NST City, Southampton’s city centre theatre and to raise income for NST’s Impact Fund which funds projects for local young people and emerging artists. Raffle tickets are £5 and are available from NST’s Box Office by calling 023 8067 1771 or at www.nstheatres.co.uk.

    Carers in Southampton is a free service for adult informal carers who give their time, unpaid, to look after an adult family member, friend or neighbour with additional support needs. We administer Carers Assessments on behalf of SCC and also provide support and relevant information.

    The Buzz Network is a group for Southampton parents/carers of children with disabilities/special needs. It is open to children with any disability from ADHD to visual impairments, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
