Provide free legal advice to people with disabilities and their carers to ensure that they have access to their rights and justice.

Advice on community care, employment, housing and welfare benefits.  Please note that they can only advise on discrimination in employment cases.

They can advise on housing (homelessness, possession, unlawful eviction, defending ASBOs, landlord harassment) call 0207 791 9800.

They aim to respond to enquiries within 3-5 working days. 

Free Legal Advice Online, By Phone or In Writing

DLS provides free advice via information, factsheets, training courses and telephone and written advice.  Within their current funding they are able to provide telephone advice to those calling 0207 791 9800 in areas of welfare benefits, housing, community care and employment and discrimination law.

MS Legal Advice Line

The MS Society funds the MS Legal Line in order to provide free confidential legal advice to people affected by MS in England and Wales.  

The MS Legal Line can advise on the following areas of law:

  • Employment
  • Disability Discrimination
  • Goods and Services
  • Community Care
  • Welfare Benefits (appeals)
