Welcome to the Enable Ability website

Hampshire Youth Project is run by Enable Ability and is for young people aged 16-25 years living in South East Hampshire with a physical and/or mild-moderate learning disability, or an additional need, with the opportunity to engage in a variety of planned recreational, social and sporting activities as part of a group setting.

The Project aims to provide young people with a physical and/or mild-moderate learning disability, or an additional need, with the opportunity to engage in a variety of planned recreational, social and sporting activities as part of a group setting.

This enables young people to interact and socialise with other peers on a regular basis. Activities are designed to improve pivotal life skills for all young people; including building their confidence & self-esteem, independence, communications and multitasking skills, to name a few.

Formerly Hampshire Teenage Project: they have now changed their name to Hampshire Youth Project and their age range has changed from 13-21 to 16-25 years. However, if your young person has already registered with them and is under 16, they are more than welcome to stay part of the project. They now have a new Project Leader, James. The programme for October includes: Flip Out & KFC • Battlefront Games • Great South Run & a meal • Dark Tales at Ashcroft Arts Centre. For more details about the project and their programme, visit Hampshire Youth Project or telephone James on 023 9267 1874 or 07857 328390 or email [email protected].
