Integrated Mental Health Employment Service

The Integrated Mental Health Employment Service (IMHES) is delivered within the Southampton Community Mental Health Teams. Their aim is to engage with people with mental health issues earlier to prevent them falling out of employment, to find work or training and to maintain their employment status.

What does IMHES offer?

Employment based information, advice and guidance

An individualised employment action plan to help prevent future risk

Support through the process and signposting to additional support providers

Individual interventions based on identified goals

Who can be referred?

Anyone currently receiving a service from Southampton Community Mental Health Teams

Service Users who are unemployed and looking to engage in employment

Service Users who are signed off, or at risk of being signed off work

Service Users who are engaged in any form of employment who would benefit from this intervention
