Recovery Colleges offer educational courses about mental health and recovery designed to increase students' knowledge and skills and to help them feel more confident in self-management of their own mental health and well-being.

For a person with lived experience of mental ill health, this may help them to take control and become an expert in their own well-being and recovery and move on with their life despite their mental health challenges. This aims to help them achieve or work towards whatever is meaningful in their lives.

The Southern Health Recovery College takes an educational approach to equip you with the knowledge and skills to get on with your life, despite mental illness. Because mental illness can affect anyone, these skills are relevant to all of us whether we're health professionals, service users, or carers.

Due to the pandemic The Recovery College is offering a variety of online courses instead. They have also created online learning videos and resource pages which have information and additional tools to help you learn more about recovery and self-management.
