Red Cross BORROW A MOBILITY AID

Red Cross provide short-term loans of mobility aids to people in need, including wheelchairs, commodes, walking sticks and frames.

You can either collect equipment or, in some cases, have it delivered for a small fee. They also stock new and reconditioned items for sale – please contact them for more information.

The types of mobility aids you can borrow include:

They request donations to help them provide the service. The service is run by their volunteers. A refundable deposit may also be required for some items.
