Southampton SENDIASS

The SENDIASS Service aims to empower children and young people with special educational needs/disabilities and their parents/carers to make informed decisions about education, health and social care.

IAS Services have a duty to provide information, advice and support to disabled children and young people, and those with SEN, and their parents. They are statutory services which means there has to be one in every local authority.

They are free, impartial and confidential services.

The SENDIASS Service provide advice to children/young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) and their parents/carers. Their service is for people who live in Southampton.
