Regular events

Craft Night 2nd Tuesday of each month 7-9pm at IKEA Restaurant, IKEA, West Quay Rd SO15 1GY

They will provide all materials and tuition if required but if you have any spare yarn please bring it along. Or you can just relax with them and have some tea, cake and a chat about crafts and all sorts of other things. Our attendees are doing lots of different crafts so there is plenty of inspiration if you're looking to see what's going on in the world of crafting.

Remember Craft Night is open (and free) to Sotonettes members and non-members alike, so whether you come every month or have never been before, they'd love to see you! Just look for the ladies in the IKEA Restaurant!

If there is something you would like to learn, please let us know in advance and they will try and match you up with someone skilled in that craft!

Book Club 3rd Tuesday of every month 7pm-9pm at Mettricks Coffee Shop, 1 Guildhall Place, SO14 7DU

There is no charge to attend and both members and non-members of the Sotonettes are very welcome.

Food and drink is available to purchase, so you can enjoy the discussion with cake and tea! Do come along even if you haven't finished the book. You will usually find the group upstairs but if you are not sure then just ask the staff to direct you.

The Book Club has a general ‘female’ theme such as female authors and leading characters, and they  are always open to suggestions! They plan on mixing things up a bit, from classics to contemporary, across a range of genres.

Cake Club

Do you like talking about cake and tasting new recipes? The Sotonettes hold a Cake Club during those months that have 5 Tuesdays, on the 4th Tuesday of the month. We often meet at the Quaker Meeting House, Ordnance Road, Southampton.
